Tyler Mountain/Cross Lanes Community Services is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax exempt, social service agency that assists the community via an emergency three (3) day supply of food from our food pantry, one time every 30 days.

We have been active in helping residents in Cross Lanes and Tyler Mountain since 1980. We operate a food pantry and Christmas Food Basket program in collaboration with neighboring churches, businesses, and organizations.

In addition to support we receive from local churches and individuals, we are also funded through grants from The Pallottine Foundation of Huntington.

Our Services

Who do we assist?

Beneficiaries of our program include low- to no-income families and senior citizens in the Cross Lanes and Tyler Mountain areas.

What services do you provide?

We assist with a three (3) day emergency supply of food through our pantry. Registered clients with a pantry slip may visit the pantry one time every 30 days.

How do you determine eligibility?

Eligibility is determined by residency, and monthly income for USDA commodities.

What is the Christmas Voucher Program?

In December, registered clients who have completed the application for Christmas food receive a voucher to a local Cross Lanes grocer. The voucher may be used for the purchase of food for a holiday meal(s). Certain restrictions do apply.

How many people do you help?

In 2024 we served more than 1,680 individuals with their basic needs.
